Why Foresight Family Physicians?įoresight Family Physicians (Foresight) is a small, independent practice between two large integrated systems in Grand Junction, Colorado, a town of just under 60,000 on the west slope of the Rocky Mountains. To explore existing innovative workforce configurations, AHRQ and the Abt project team conducted a literature review, explored extant data sources, convened a Technical Expert Workgroup of national experts in primary care workforce, and conducted site visits to primary care practices with innovative workforce configurations.
